Often, the child’s counselor at school or a child therapist, depending on the age of the child, can help discuss what happened, help us get that child to begin to deal with what happened, to give us more details as to how we can help pursue a claim for you. Once we have the interview process down, we begin to collect whatever evidence we can, work with the parents, but the first step really is coming forward, having the courage to come forward, and asking for help.
